This policy explains how Kamayari uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and the choices you have.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. They help a website remember things between pages or visits.

2. What this website uses

Everything below except visit statistics stays in your browser. It's there only to make the website easier to use, and it's never sent to us or used to track you.

• Recently viewed. The last three products you opened (name, photo, price and link), shown on the home and contact pages so you can pick up where you left off. Kept in local storage for 30 days, or until you tap Clear.

• Unit choice. Whether you're viewing sizes in centimetres or inches and weights in kilograms or pounds. Kept in session storage, so it resets when you close the tab.

• Enquiry hand-off. The product you tapped Enquire on, so the contact form can fill it in for you, and whether you've already sent an enquiry during this visit. Kept in session storage.

• Visit statistics. Our website platform counts visits and page views in aggregate so we can see which pages are useful. The web address of each page is part of that count, so anything carried in it — a word typed into the shop search, or the product an Enquire link names — is included. We don't use this to build a profile of you.

Your browser may also load a page early when you rest your pointer on a link, so it opens faster. This doesn't set a cookie or store anything about you.

3. What we don’t use

We don't use advertising or social media tracking cookies, we don't sell information about your visit, and nothing kept in your browser is collected by us.

4. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, and clear your recently viewed products with the Clear button on the contact page. The website will still work, although small conveniences, like remembering your last enquiry or your unit choice, will reset.

5. Changes to this policy

If we add new tools, such as a newsletter or live chat, we’ll update this policy and the date above. You can also read our Privacy Policy.
