Product details
The cover is woven on a floor loom in Argao, Cebu, from abaca that is stripped, sun-dried and hand-knotted into one long thread. It feels firm and a little rough at first and softens after a few weeks of use.
A 15 cm foam insert keeps it flat and firm enough to sit on at a low table or by a window. The cover unzips along one side for cleaning.
Undyed abaca ranges from pale straw to light gold, so each cover is slightly different.

Care and cleaning
Spot clean with cold water and a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Blot, don't rub.
Take the insert out and hand wash the cover cold. Don't wring it.
Dry flat in the shade; direct sun can fade natural fibres.
Abaca may shed a little at first.
