Modelled on the baskets carried to the palengke, the wet market: an oval body, a stiff bent handle and a flat base that sits upright when full.
It holds about 15 litres, enough for a week of vegetables or a couple of throws by the sofa. The handle carries up to 8 kg.

Care and cleaning
Dust with a soft brush or the brush attachment of a vacuum.
Blot spills with a dry cloth. For marks, wipe with a little mild soapy water and dry in the shade.
Keep indoors and away from damp to prevent mould.
If the weave dries out and creaks, mist it lightly with water once a month.
