Product details
Thrown by hand from local red clay and fired without glaze. Water slowly seeps into the walls and evaporates, which keeps it a few degrees cooler than the room, the way a traditional banga does.
The outside may feel slightly damp when the jug is full, so stand it on a coaster or tray.

Care and cleaning
Soak in cold water for an hour before first use.
Rinse with warm water and a soft brush. No soap or dishwasher; the clay absorbs it.
Let it air dry fully, upside down, before storing to prevent mildew.
For hard-water marks, soak overnight in water with a spoon of vinegar, then rinse well.
