Product details
Capiz is the thin, translucent shell of the windowpane oyster, the same material used in old Filipino sliding windows. Each panel is cut, flattened and wired to the frame by hand, then overlapped so the light glows through two or three layers.
Two sizes:
Small: 45 cm tall, 30 cm across (the listed price)
Large: 60 cm tall, 38 cm across
The dimensions shown are for the small lamp. It plugs into a standard outlet, so no electrician is needed. Takes one E27 bulb, not included.
Currently out of stock. The next batch is about four weeks away; send an enquiry to reserve one.

Care and cleaning
Switch off and unplug before cleaning.
Dust the capiz with a dry microfibre cloth. Don't use water or glass cleaner.
Lift the lamp by its base, not the shade; capiz is thin and can chip.
Use an LED bulb up to 9 W (60 W equivalent).
